I think Iāve found a guitarist to play with my drummer and I. Working on setting up practice for next weekend to get us all together. I think weāre a trio now.

I find myself hugging my bass during rehearsals in between playing - as a shoulder relieve in the first place, but it also feels like cuddling

I do that too! I also gently touch the neck of my bass while Iām sitting close to it and reading. It feels silly, but it makes me happy.
I also greet my basses

Iām in Module 12 right now and donāt hate the octaves as much as I thought I would, so thatās good.
I decided to go back and check my progress. When I first hit the āWith or Without Youā lesson near the start of the course I could only get through a couple measures at full speed without everything falling apart. Now I can play through the whole song at tempo and itās easy. Itās so easy not to notice my progress, so that was a cool exercise.

Just finished module 9. Had no issues with Roxanne or Feel Good Inc, at full tempo, went great!

I have 2 Chihuahuas. Both rescued from breeding farms, both between 15 and 18. It is a fact that they actually think they are the Masters of the UNiverse. 
My short-haired Chihuahua is quiet and gentle. Except at feeding time, when she can be heard in the next country over. My other Chihuahua moves like Barry Allen aka The Flash - for her food, and for my catsā (if I even turn my head for a second). The only thing missing is her Speedster outfit!!!

We crushed it! There wasnāt really a dance floor but it didnāt stop the crowd from using the space available and filling it up. We got a ton of compliments and a couple invites for more work.

Been in the recording studio (AKA, my office) with my daughter. We trying to create a full cover of a bass-heavy song. My daughter is on vocals and finger clicks. Iām on bass and ākick drumāā¦
