Who is liking the Grass Roots? So many of their songs take me back… so many songs with multiple “lead” singers (that you thought were the same guy…or at least sounded like the same guy) and for the most part the front man was the bass player…no wonder I still like them so much… want a challenge? Try and play Midnight Confessions…and then do it with a pick it’s all over the place but it still makes sense…your thoughts…yes you can simplify it but the full version not only challenges your fingers but your memory

One of my Berklee teacher’s brothers, Dan Walsh, actually wrote a few of their songs, Heaven Knows, Just a Little Tear, and Temptation Eyes. My teacher, Marty Walsh, was a session/touring guitarist as well. Definitely a talented musical family.
