My wife is interested in learning guitar after watching me having fun with BassBuzz. Any recommendations for online guitar courses aimed at beginners along the lines of BassBuzz?

Don’t practice when your wife / girl friend is present though. My GF finds him “adorable”, whatever that means

For a true beginner, it is tough to beat Justin Guitar.

Even if you use another course, you will also use Justin’s course, either now or eventually.

Just a quick note for others considering Justin’s courses. The web-accessed lessons are free. The Android and iOS apps are subscription-based. The two do not sync. I found that out AFTER I bought a one-year sub. The course materials are not identical, so there is probably value in going through both. All I really care about is rhythm guitar chording for songwriting. I don’t have nor have I ever had any interest in being a lead guitar wizard. I’m a bass guy all the way. I just think it would be a useful skill for songwriting.
I picked up this lovely GC/MF-exclusive G&L Tribute Ascari GTS HB3 from MF on a SDotD for $350. The Irish Ale finish came and went in a heartbeat. The exclusive parts were the middle (3rd) humbucker and a Strat-like 5-way x 2 switch. I’ve had it for years and decided it was time to finally learn how to play chords on it after seeing the recommendations here for Justin’s course.

The Kiloton tribute that I got from @soulman is in Irish Ale. What a great color for a guitar / bass body. A nice deep wood stain with that red hue. If I ever upgrade to an L-2000 someday, I don’t think I’ll be able to let the Kiloton go to do it.
I’ve had my Les Paul out the past few weeks relearning guitar chords in anticipation of my bass vi getting here (on the delivery truck this morning, we’ll see). The first thing I figured out is that the way I place my fingers to play chords is not the same way that I place my fingers to play bass. Those little strings hurt like hell for about the first week until the calluses built up.
