I’m pretty sure there’s something for every guitar traditionalist to hate here. 7 string guitar with a Floyd Rose, tele body, and strat style pickups. Add on the sustainiac neck pickup for even more division.

I’d just rather stick with 6 strings, thats the one and only nit I’ve got to pick with it. I dig that red burst.
I agree the burst is pretty. The weirdest looking part to me is a Floyd Rose on a tele body.

I’d prefer a wilkinson trem but a floyd rose is still infinitely better imo than a bigsby. I like that my wilkinson has a screw mounted arm that lets me tighten / loosen / or remove it in a few seconds.
Still like this bridge a lot more than the Les Paul style hard tail or the Fender tele bridge. Or the Fender jazzmaster bridge. Or the Fender strat bridge.

I don’t understand why Yamaha had to copy the shitty tele bridge design. I’d be all about this guitar if you could intonate it properly. I get Fender doing it, it’s their vintage design. I think it’s dumb but I get it. Yamaha should be better than that though. Even Leo fixed this on the ASAT 40 years ago
I agree, but it’s a pretty easy swap.
Ahh crap they even went with the BB style inlays huh. And of course maple necks on seafoamed green and pastel pink.

I love the Tele Custom format. Humbucker or P90 in the neck makes them much better IMO.

I love teles. Not a fan of the bridge. Same with the jazzmaster bridge. Thats why I bought the G&L version of the JM.
