Exactly @MikeC I saw this video when it came out. It features the excellent Bassist Phil Conrad on Bass. Who has a great YT channel.

Rhett doesn’t play bass during the video. So I’ll take my playing advice from bassists not guitarists who bought a bass.

IMHO it is universal advice regardless of the instrument used.

Yep, Phil Conrad is really good. I’ve seen him talking about bass in other videos. Glad Rhett included his input.

Yawn @jacq noodling counts because I’m playing bass. Paul Wolfe is good (I have one of his books) but he’s a bit serious.

You avoid noodles and stay on the straight path. It’s a broad church. But in my book noodling counts as practice.
