Coffee IS breakfast, tea for brunch. Coffee for lunch, tea for supper.
Yes, thatās true. I have a post workout coffee in the AM but donāt eat till about 2 or 3 in the afternoon normally.
But you can at least call to the shops to get the messages.

Coffee with heavy cream is actually my favorite breakfast.
I do steamed almond milk and an Aero Press for my first coffee of the day. The rest of my teas and coffees I take black.
My coffee is none-more-black. Usually 2-3 espressos to kick start the day. Used to take cream, and wouldnāt complain as long as there was no sugar, but black is where itās at for me.
I am all for black coffee. But super heavy cream coffee as a morning treat is my guilty pleasure.
Sugar? NO
I finally kicked the sugar in my coffee when I started Keto about 3 months ago, I do use some whole milk though, I like heavy cream in my Irish coffee but normal coffee I prefer a bit lighter.
The moment I hit a Bay Area airport I start looking for the closest Philz to grab a Philtered Soul with heavy cream. Itās almost as much a ritual for me as heading straight to Burgerville in Portland.
(and yes, I know PDX airport has a Burgerville in it, but it is in Departures )
People mention coffee with cream or tea with milk and my whole body shivers.
Coffee⦠Black⦠Espresso. Sugar, cream are for weaklings.
Americano is a tea made with coffee beans.
Tea with Milk should give the death penalty.
I am portuguese⦠Tea is just another example of something we gave the brits and they managed to ruin it!
I am trying to think of how to describe my coffee consumption volume and I keep coming back to
No way - and itās even better with a chocolate biscuit to dunk into it
So⦠I had a standard irish tea for breakfast⦠3h ago.
In the meantime Iām on my 3rd espresso doppio (double espresso).
If you consume anything near this⦠we need a Coffee-holicus Anonymous section in the forum.
Two 12oz mugs of matcha genmaicha and a six cup pot of drip coffee before I even leave for work.
A couple years ago I had to switch to decaf for the coffee part and I still drink enough to get a caffeine buzz
I stopped drinking coffee as it was causing acid reflux.
There is a trick! I have the same issue, but
- I drink low acid coffee (ok, thatās not a trick).
- I mix a little sodium bicarbonate in my to-go water/juice drink. That really helps!
Now I am happily drinking coffee, even very strong ones!
I may give that a try! Thanks.
HERESY!
āNo thank you, Iām sweet enoughā has been my standard response to being asked if I want sugar for years now. I wonder how many actually get the reference.
