Oh, Philz for sure! My jam used to be a Tesora with cream, actually. Haven’t been in the Bay Area for a bit, but probably would order it with cream just for nostalgia.
At least we don’t serve it cold with ice and enough sugar to make your teeth curl… shudders
Southern iced tea, it’s a shock the first time you’re thirsty and just slug some down expecting normal iced tea and instead get Weapons Grade Snapple.
Lol, you’d definitely grab the pitchforks at my non dieting tea… Standard sized mug has about 120ml of milk in it. It’s more like a Chai latte. The teabag stays in the cup though. I have an Ember mug that keeps my tea/coffee piping hot and by the time I drink it it’s been steeping for a good 30mins to an hour
Milk Tea is a wildly popular beverage here.
Yes… vile stuff. The unsweet variety is an abomination too. Tea should be hot period.
I still drink hot drinks throughout the summers here. I don’t like soda and thanks to a couple of sensitive teeth I drink my water at room temperature.
That’s not us…
lol, no that would be the aforementioned ungrateful colonials
When I was the mob @howard there were various nicknames for how you wanted your tea.
NATO standard - Milk, two sugars
I always had Julie Andrews - White nun.
No porcelain mug? How positively scandalous.
I do my morning chai masala and my evening darjeeling black. If I have a green tea, I might put a little sugar in.
It was tough to give up my fine bone china mug. But I was tired of drinking stone cold tea and coffee as well.
Already started on my morning genmaicha, then the coffee comes next. Yesterday between my morning and evening coffees I had 10 350ml bottles of cold green tea and two double-shot lattes. Yesterday was a GOOD day.
Merry 25th of December to you !
