Have we been wrong?

This was a very enlightening topic for me to start my day (sips coffee). Now, I’m wondering if I’ve been pronouncing the name of my ESP LTD correctly.

Rickenbacker is often pronounced wrong by some
Ricken-bach-er is wrong.
Ricken-back-er is correct, just like its spelled.

and FWIW, esspresso is not EXpresso

One of my colleagues always says Expresso. I think he does it to annoy me. And boy, does he succeed.

etcetera is pronounced, et-set-er-uh not ex-set-er-uh as I hear people say way too often.
