I have the Ashdown Tone Pocket as well as a Zoom B1X Four and easily, I see more value in the B1X four and use it more as my traveling practice amp. The B1X Four gives me a built-in tuner, metronome, drumbeats, and a ton of effects, and uses four AA batteries. Since the battery in my Tone Pocket dies after about 5 minutes, it’s only advantage over the B1X four is its size, which if I were to get the B1 four (doesn’t have the foot pedal), the size advantage is almost gone. Also, If I had gone with the B1 four, the cost would be the same as the Tone Pocket, instead of $20 more.
