Hi. Just wondering if this is suitable for use with my bass? I was given it many years ago by a friend who owns a large events AV company. It came with a home made looking amp and a 5 element Roger Squire PA speaker. I used them as a workshop sound system for many years. Very very loud!!

It needs a good clean up but the speakers look fine and definitely work!!

It’s a model 402 4x12 rated at 400 watts RMS. 8 ohms.

That will definitely work with your bass. Make sure you match the head to the cabinet. Anything with speakers will work! But that looks extra beefy.
If it’s a guitar cab, it may be optimized for frequencies that aren’t ideal for bass, but it will definitely work regardless.
