How To Get AAA Bass Tone

I was wondering how one could get a bass tone similar to Alien Ant Farm because I am in love with it.

The only song of theirs I know is the Michael Jackson cover.
To get that sound, you’d need a bass with two pickups - one closer to the bridge (the place where your strings connect to the body of your bass) and one closer to the neck.
It sounds like his pickup is moved just a bit closer to the pickup closer to the bridge.
Basses with two pickups have a way to adjust how much of each pickup to use.
The other thing I hear is that low, low 5th string.
That’s just having an extra low string to go to.

Lemme know if there’s a specific song or sound you’re talking about and like @eric.kiser said, we can probably get much closer to the sound.
