I want to get that “dreamy” sound from a lot of bass solos that I’ve seen on youtube. Is this Chorus + reverb?

Marcelo is dubbed “The Bass Wizard” for a reason. Yes, he’s using some sort of chorus, but he’s also playing harmonics, tapping, and chords. He’s an absolute beast.
Him, Ivan Carranza, and Nathan Navarro are some of my favorite bassist on YouTube.

He’s definitely using a nice lush reverb. I didn’t hear chorus there personally, you never know though.

It’s also sounding more layered and lush because he’s playing a low note on the B or E string and letting it ring out while he continues on the higher strings.
