How to Slap & Pop Faster (Bad vs. Good Bass Technique)

How to “double pop” on different strings?
I know it’s uncommon but I have situation in which there’s a slap and two fast pops on different strings (D - G) followed by another slap but I can’t figure out an efficient way to play it. It seems to me that it’s impossible to “teeter-toter” and I think using the finger muscles to a certain degree is needed.

I think the notation is wrong as pop happens on the D and G string, not A and D string, but for reference:
