Hoyer bass 1966

Hello bass lovers,

I found an opportunity to buy a german Hoyer bass from around 1967. It is a copy of Gibson EB 3 I think. It costs around 900 us dollars. What do you think? Is it to old or is it a great deal?

Love the nasally tone on the SG bass. Not my cup of coffee but I sure appreciate the tone.
