Yep, I think you’re in trouble. I tried to jam with a group a couple of times and they…sucked. If you could encourage her to try and play cover tunes would that help? When you’re trying to play an actual song, at least for me, it was a lot more fun than just trying to make up music.

Everyone should check him out—he’s in a whole other world of what can be done with that instrument!!! Your friend should check him out—it’s astonishing—I’d suggest checking out several videos, as he plays many ways depending on the song.
Well now she’s bought a mandolin so yeah … great. But I’m definitely gonna check him out!
