I might return my Schecter

So I bought that Schecter Riot 5 and then a week later ordered a Sire V7 4 string. I… don’t see myself touching the Schecter again any time soon, between the Sire’s tone, versatility, playability…

The Schecter is so pretty but… I don’t know. Maybe buyers remorse. Thanks for coming to my mind dump.

If it doesn’t inspire you to pick it up, then it’s time to let it go. My 2¢.

Well there’s always the option of rebuying the Schecter, it’s a common practice of seller remorse that many of us resort to. :joy:

This has been the practice of few Buzzers, but one in particular does come to mind.

Just sayin’.

That’s why you have an infinite number of basses, @Al1885. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

We should start a pool for how long before another Revstar shows up at @howard s place.

Actually lately I am more regretful about selling my Tele. It was perfect. I’d do e the 5-way mod and put a P90 in the neck, and the color combo was among my favorites.

But I wasn’t playing it.

I hope you can always buy a another one if you really want to. I have been playing guitars lately and NEEDED a collection . I have bought 4 since I started guitar and resurrected the acoustic I apparently took lessons on when I was a small child. My collection is complete… I have my favourite but I have been making a point of rotating through all the electrics in my practice sessions. It is like falling in love again for the very first time each time I play a different one.

I haven’t played my 5 string schecter in years, but I still have it.

At first I thought you didn’t like the Schecter. But isn’t it a little unfair to compare a 4 with a 5-string?

As soon as I got the Sire, I have no desire to pick up the Schecter, so feeling remorse over spending the 1300 on it @110010

I had a Schecter Omen Extreme 5 and ended up letting it go. Actually, I’ve had 4 different ones and sold them all. I now have two Fenders and a Yamaha 5. Nothing wrong with Schecter, just like Fender better.

I get it, love the v7, it’s a super great bass.
