Thanks guys, I might just do that. It would be a gear thing and not a typical review. I really love the Angry Asian angle. Let see if I can pull it off,
Just picked this up today. Putting it though its pace right now.
Wow! this is a pretty incredible IEM.
78.

Which one? the FH19?
Yes it has the typical Red-Bass, Green-Treble, and Black-Balance
I first tried the black filter and it’s very easy to listen but once I put the green filter on I don’t want to go back. The extra sizzles really bring out the detail. The staging is unreal.
The red filter is more for older recording, where there’s a lot more dynamic in the mastering mix. Same goes to the soundtrack as Loudness is not the priority, but the dynamic is. Red filter would turn most modern mastering into a Mudpie. That said I don’t detect any bass bleeding into the lower mid at all, which is quite remarkable. It’s safe to say that it’s the best hybrid FIIO ever made.
The sleeper though is the FH5s. That’s Gem. It’s the HD6XX of IEM. airy, and open, delicious Mids. Many Tubes reviewers were not so kind on this model but it’s the perfect IEM for the current music not to mention the Cory Wong’s catalog of music I like and the Bassists album like Nathan East, Gary Willis, Esperanza Spalding, to name a few. You can pick one up for very cheap now too. Great value is an understatement.
No IEMs are great with “Every” genres of music. No let me be more specific, the “playlist” that you know so well. If you want to listen to the equipment then you need your “known” music. You can tell the difference from your experience after a few hundreds times listening to that playlist or song. Listening to new songs for the first time almost everything sounds good on just about everything because you are not listening to the equipment just music.
sounds cool, i would love to hear them
edit: both of them, actually

Sadly you are so far away, if not it could happen in a blink. Not to mention I have the FX15 and the FA19. Both are highly technical and awesome to listen to.
