Hi @Eric37,
If you have just started the b2b course, you will develop a solid foundation to build your own technique around, and be out jamming with your mates in no time.:+1:
Cheers Brian

Welcome (again I think) @101. Yes it most certainly is. I always tell people that SLC is the prettiest and cleanest big city I have ever been to. I am not much for the big cities, SLC and Chicago and Las Vegas being some of the only ones I really enjoy.

Speaking of Chi and LV, welcome @hoodz91 as well, and @Eric37 over in Taiwan

Welcome Gonçalo @gcancella, that’s great you were able to get back in the water recently!

Welcome @seabear! 2h/day practicing is a s**tload, you can advance plenty well doing a lot less than that (depending on your goals). And you don’t have to slap if you don’t want to, it’s highly overrated in terms of importance for learning.

Belated welcome to Teddy @hoodz91, glad things are going well on the bass!

Welcome DB @101 , glad you’re loving the bass :guitar::heart:

Welcome @Eric37, glad you’ve been digging the videos!

Oh no, Trainspotting scenes just came to mind!

Thank you! Although sometimes I wonder if I sound too formal at times, haha!

I completed Module 1 in the past two days, and you are right. 2 hours daily is shitload. 2 hours straight, especially. I have decided to grab my bass every once in a while and practice. Frequent bite-size practice is the key!

absolutely, you are for sure on the right track with that thinking.
I do the same thing, I pick up one of my Basses often , and practice a few riffs and bass lines to gain better technique on those specific lines / riffs.

I then have structured time which can run 2 hours or more, but is usually proven up into 2-3 half hour sessions per day.

I get the occasional day off when I am not around for most of the day, but not often. About 1 out of evert 10-14 days.

That works for me, and I think what you are doing will be great for you.

Not sure if this is the correct place to introduce oneself but here we go…i’m Bob (58 years old) I live in the UK been playing a good few years but not really advancing and getting nowhere to be honest, got a fair bit of understanding of bass and theory but applying it is a problem…just thought i’d day hello.
