Good day to everyone, hope you are doing marvelously well. My name is Tom and at the moment I live in Prague, Czechia. I’ve got myself my first bass (Squier PJ Bass) and after browsing around YouTube I found out about Bassbuzz and Josh seems like a great teacher, so I wanted to give it a try. Hi Everyone!
This is Steve from Burbank, CA and I’m as new to this as you can possibly be. I had never even touched a bass guitar until the one I ordered (Yamaha TRBX604) arrived a few days ago. I’m a retiree with too much free time on his hands. I’m also a life-long audiophile and with the pandemic, I’ve been spending even more sitting and just listening to music.
I find that simply foot tapping to the music isn’t doing it for me anymore and I wanted to get more involved in my music and that’s why I bought a bass. I’ve been trying to follow instructional videos but I find that they’re just so random that I don’t know where to begin. That’s why I enrolled in the Bass to Badass course. It should help me both physically and mentally because I plan to be standing (rather than sitting) while I’m learning. We all know that when you get older it’s good to get off your butt and learn a new skill and that’s why I’ve joined your ranks.
This should be quite an adventure.
