Welcome to the passel of new members I’ve missed while I’ve been under the weather. I apologize for not extending my usual, personal welcome, but just know that I’m happy you are here.
I think the people who know music rate them highly. Tatiana is one hell of a singer. Pisces gets a lot of play out there.
Welcome aboard @heather.crook ,
Enjoy the ride,

Hey everyone! Always wanted to learn to play bass, and finally decided to give it a try in my forties
Learned to play piano and clarinet at school, so not entirely new to playing, but bass is a completely different experience. Going through B2B in the scraps of free time in the evenings, and enjoy it very much.
Welcome @abbot

Welcome @abbot
Hi, guys!!!
So I’m a bass enthusiast.
Life gets crazy so I was practicing religiously but had to take a break.
But I wasn’t happy with my technique and progress and recently restarted the course.
I think it’s totally helped.
Just wanted to say hi and get some feedback on any students who struggle to find time to play their bass due to other commitments!
Glad you are here @sudha.priber !
Finding time in a busy life is the hardest part of a hobby.
A headphone amp gives you 24/7 availability, all you have to do is give up sleep.
Welcome @sudha.priber
Hello,
A little about me, I am a 27 year old man. I have limited musical experience (playing keyboard/piano/synth/melodica at beginner level, as well as 3-string and single-string cigar box guitar).
My user name “Twiggy” is named after Twiggy Ramirez (Jeordie White) most famous for being the bass player and close friend of/for “Marilyn Manson”, though he did also audition for Metallica and did some work for Nine Inch Nails.
I’d eventually like to learn in time how to play the basslines for “The Beautiful People” and “The Dope Show” they sound like it will require some knowledge, but would still be on the easier side (but I really don’t know).
I will be buying a Squire Bronco Bass tomorrow, because it is honestly the best I can afford and also it is short scale and due to my cigar box guitar playing, I am used to shorter instruments.
I do plan on doing some cosmetic upgrades in the near future to it, to customize it a little and make it unique and truly “mine” (and maybe replace the pickup). I’m looking to make bass my main instrument, but I am sure I can transfer some knowledge to my other string instruments as well.
So I am looking forward to getting my first proper bass guitar soon, and then buying these beginner to badass course. I’ve seen the videos you have up on youtube and they do seem very easy to understand even for a complete beginner. I don’t even own a bass yet technically and I already understand some things, lol.
Welcome @Twiggy.
You’ve come to the right place. Both of those songs will be completely doable after you do the course.

Welcome, @sudha.priber. Glad you’re here. Finding time to play can be challenging, but any time you can put in is valuable. Keep on thumping.
Welcome, @Twiggy. Josh is the teacher you need to get to where you want to be. Just follow the B2B lessons and put in the practice time. And post any questions you might have. There’s a lot of knowledge in this group.
