I couldn’t work out how to post on the ‘introduce yourself’ thread as I’m not familiar with forums!
Just wanted to to say Hi to everyone, I’m Andy from the UK, I’m 55 and started playing bass around 4 months ago, I did Kickboxing to a pretty high level for 15 years but the body started to give up so I decided to give the bass a go, very quickly became obsessed like many others.
Both my kids are very musical and I thought that perhaps they got that from me- wrong!
I have decided to start from scratch with Josh’s bass to badass course as I was getting a bit confused about how best to approach learning to play.
Looking forward to progressing and glad to have a network of fellow bassists to go to for help!

You just need to look for the reply links. There’s generally one at the bottom of a post to reply to that specific post or one at the bottom of the whole thread which is more of a button to just add to the thread (reply to the thread). They will both will bring up a box to type your reply into. then hit the Reply just below that box.
But no matter…Welcome to the forum anyway, @AndyRob !

You’re in for a treat with Josh’s B2B for sure, I loved every moment of it, and it got me from being a complete music noob to being able to easily (relatively) play in a group and understand a lot of the primary topics. Plus you play music pretty much on every lesson!
For the longest time I even felt like I cheated and skipped the “noob” phase thanks to B2B 
but trust me, it’ll be a while before it gets old! (EDIT: “it’ll be a while” says the 7 months old bass player, lol, but yeah, there’s SO much to learn!)

If you ever have an idea of a thing to post - introductions, for instance - you can put a few queries in the search field.
That’s our magnifying glass (on my desktop it’s top right).
Hopefully you’ll find a thread that makes sense.
If not - make a new one!
And if it fits with an existing thread, it may get moved (like this one) to a more communal home.
