‘It can bring you to tears’: is this the world’s most beautiful sounding nightclub?

Rather than copy and paste, here’s a link to the article in The Guardian. This club has been added to my short bucket list.

Open Ground dance club in Wuppertal, Germany

Hahaha - yeah, Wuppertal!

I have partied there quite often - not in that specific club, but in the clubs that were it’s predecessors. I think the owners are the same, so be prepared for a life changing ride. It’s very underground and anything can & will happen there.

I know quite a few underground techno clubs around there … in Cologne, Bochum, Essen, Dortmund, Düsseldorf and Neuss. Or a little further: te Dutch border area (Nijmegen, Arnhem).
On some weekends we started on Friday night and came home Monday morning … visted three clubs, sometimes five or more … the weekend express…
Destroyed the houses of some new “friends” during a chillout, lost some friends along the way, cause they met a girl or a guy or both or whatever, and came home with some others that we did not remember the next weekend.

That region is wild! When you go there, message me…

EDIT The best sound system before was at the Rheingold/Düsseldorf. The “Poison Club” event was notorious. I came for the sound, I left cause of the people. I have a very high tolerance of many things, but I was too soft to remain there for more than one or two hours … can’t get into details here

EDIT2 Just read the article until the end and had to giggle about this quote: << Gazing at her, I think back to what Markus’s wife, Christine, told to me earlier in the night: “The sound is so good, you don’t need drugs.”>>

It reminds me of an old joke:
What does a techno fan say when he goes to a club without using drugs?
“The music is sh#t!”
