Italia made some beautiful retro basses, but just like G&L, they're done

I always loved Italia’s basses, but I sure wouldn’t classify them as retro. Definitely, the use of f-holes is a callback to acoustic instruments, but the size and shape of ‘em aren’t.

It’s a shame if Italia is no longer building. They made works of art, without a doubt.
