I’d love one of these, I’m looking at ordering a series 3 once I finish the beginner to badass course! Been a Level 42 fan since the early 80’s and have always wanted to learn to play then try to play (very badly) the music of my hero’s!

That’s great to hear! I live in the U.S. and it took me decades to find the ones that I have. I have two Series One, a Series 2, and an active Roadie.

Jaydee prices for sale on markets like Reverb are quite overpriced to say the least. Please never pay over $6,000 for a used Series 2 or 3, and a Roadie. I’ve seen them going for that much. I paid close to that for my cherry red Classic Mark King Series 1 replica that was on the market at Bass Direct a few months back. If you go to Youtube and find Bass Direct’s video regarding Mark King and the basses that he’s used throughout his career, the first bass that Marcus talks about is the cherry red Jaydee. (I purchased and now own that bass as seen in the video,….here’s my photo of it) I was at the right place at the right time for that one….it’s my dream bass.

If you do put in an order, it will take around two and a half years of build time. Most of that is curing and drying time for the laminates. This is the most recent pricing list from the Jaydee website:

I have the UK prices and build time

It will give me time to learn how to play it to do it justice.

I agree the used ones seem overpriced!

Have fun!
