WOW! That’s a gorgeous bass. Now that I see it I remembered this bass now. I must have gone pickup blind. 
This is very interesting, it has a knob, a toggle, and a switch. What do they do?
This scream custom, split block inlays, unique electronics layout neck binding and that’s what I can see from the front.

Yeah these are awesome. They were made in a limited run at the behest of a music producer here, both the J1 and J2 models. Only 100 of each. That one is stock, those were the stock features, and yeah, different than the other SBV production.
John’s other SBV is even more rare. Only 50 of those.

Knob is volume, toggle is 3-way pickup selector, switch is a high-cut vs treble knob.
