Joe Dart I, II, & now III

My *strandberg made in Indonesia that’s how I could afford it and the build quality is top notch. They probably have more “master” luthiers than any other country in the world right now. It’s not a mark of inferiority just merely a location. If you want top notch mountain bike or bikes in general you want to get one made in Taiwan.

Both of my highest quality basses were made in Taiwan too

The Joe Dart III shorty is 470 €. With shipping, taxes and duty, the price was 666 €. The number of the beast. Cured my GAS for the moment! But I’m still on the lookout for a used EBMM Joe Dart III. I’ll take any number between 1 and 50. My EBMM T.C. passive shorty is #23. I’d love to have an EBMM Dart III next to it in the rack.

I don’t look up gear reviews.
I just wait for @Al1885 to buy it and let us know how it is.

You’re doing God’s work, Al!!

No five string. Deal Breaker.

What the heck. A slight change in the exchange rate dropped the price 10 €, so it’s no longer the number of the beast. Just ordered a black Joe Dart 3. I’ll save the 3K+ € extra I was willing to pay for an EBMM JD3 for something else.

Genuine question @Al1885

Does he gig with a 5 sting, as his signature models are all 4’s (I think)?

he’s mainly a 4 stringer. He’s gonna be one of those who stays 4 string the rest of his career

Joe seems to be doing just dandy with four strings.

If ain’t broke…don’t add entirely unnecessary strings. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Many if not most have or take 5 string to the gig because the songs they play require it. Since he plays his music there’s never a need, :joy:
