I’ve seen the name Vulfpeck, but never listened to them. I’m blown away with the tightness of the guys. I went on to watch a few more vids. The physical performance goes with the music and adds to the entertainment. Norman Watt-Roy (Ian Dury & The Blockheads) wouldn’t be out of place with them.

I’m new to them as well. Really like this Dean Town song. Here’s the official video (it’s really cool). There are also some videos with tab on YouTube, but I’m not near that skill level yet…

1612 was one of the first good baselines I learned. Lots of fun to play along with. Joe Dart is a ton of fun. You can also find the full film they released of their MSG show on YouTube which is really well done. I’m not huge into them like I am some other bands, but I do enjoy the Vulf.

This is new from Vulfpeck, a great little song for warming up the fingers

Joe also tours with the Fearless Flyers.

Joe also plays in a band called The Fearless Flyers

For those new to Vulf, welcome to the 10,000. Joe Dart is my biggest bass hero and the one I strive to be. I discovered him and Vulfpeck right after I decided to take up bass. Still can’t play any of their stuff all the way through to save my life but it’s a constant…borderline Sisyphean goal.

This clip is the first thing I ever saw of them and I was instantly hooked:
