Just finished module 1

Like the title says, I just finished module one so I am practically a badass now.

I actually switched basses on this. I started out with my Yamaha P bass, just because I hadn’t played it in a while. But as soon as I tried the slide, I knew the sound was wrong and switched to my Fender Jazz. Kinda of exciting actually, it’s the first time I’ve made a ‘musical’ decision!

All you have to do is play another bass on each module, 2 basses on the last module, you are golden

I graduated already, and this is what I have to show for

Some of the harder modules require more than one bass to complete.

Damn. Here I was thinking I was crazy to want to get a P/J.

Have you tried rehab?

Like BB meeting? It didn’t work. This is what happened at our first Meet, it’s enough basses there to get a Brand new Tesla.

This Fodera Yin Yang was/ is my favorite. About to make a cover with it this weekend.

Quitters never win… :joy:

Have you picked out your bass for when you finish module 2?

Maybe a P or a Ray?

To be fair, they said they started with a Yamaha P. Maybe a HH of some type? A Beatle bass would be good. I recently got a cheap Rogue BB off of Musician’s Friend when they had it as the SDotD for $150 (regular price $230 but it’s on sale right now for $180, still a good buy). The stock strings are junk but throw on some LaBella DTB Beatle Bass flats (and in my case put the Hofner teacup knobs on) and it’s quite a fun instrument. Works/plays better than the 2 Hofner’s I’ve played at my local GC: $500 Ignition (on sale at Guitar Center for $400 right now) or the used 62 500/1 they have for $2500.
