Keanu New Custom Bass

But Barney, it’s also got a blend… and a volume. That’s four fricken knobs!

If there’re some gamers here, Keanu’s performance in Cyberpunk 2077 base game is IMHO really good. (Although Idris Elba in the expansion is even better.) He plays a guy who is by accident “implanted” in your brain, so he’s your internal sidekick throughout the whole game. After a disastrous release the developers fixed and improved the game so much that it’s an absolute masterpiece in current state and it’s worth experiencing for anyone who is even mildly interested in storytelling and character writing in art.

I’ve done the first walkthrough of cyberpunk on the Xbox one. Played 45 minutes and than restart because it crashed all the time :repeat:
But I enjoyed every minute of the story. Later I played it again on the PS5 and now I play the DLC’s on the steam deck, and the performance is great. One of the best games I ever played, the other one is Detroit: Become Human :ok_hand:

CDP-R shat the bed with the state they released the game in. But nowadays, it’s definitely one of the best story driven games ever created. Detroit was too much of an interactive movie for my taste. If I could recommend an outstanding story based game, it would be The Last Of Us: Part 1. The character writing/development in that game is maybe the best in all of gaming.

I’ve played both parts too. Great games. I hated the main character in part 2 in the beginning…:grinning:

I hate what they have done with Part 2 with a burning passion. But I am happy for anyone who enjoys it.

I didn’t know going in and it took me surprisingly long to realize it was Elba

He was awesome.

I love cyberpunk! It’s not perfect and it’s launch issues are well documented but playing on PC I had no issues and I’ve enjoyed all the playthroughs I’ve done. The DLC was awesome and Elba killed it

Yeah the issues were almost entirely console AFAICT. I had it at launch and it was fine for me on PC.

I had it on pc and it was unplayable. Glitches, critical errors, FPS in mid 10s (on a highend gaming PC), etc I refunded it and bought it a year later and it was OK at that time. But at release? No bueno.

Wild, no issues for me. Wonder why.

It’s always about a particular combination of hw and software. I usually don’t suffer from major issues with games, even if others can experience a ton of them. But in this case I had really bad luck. And I know a guy who had the same level of issues, but also a guy who had almost no problems on a low-end gaming laptop. It’s just a lottery.

Yeah that’s one reason I always go Intel/NVidia with a top tier mobo/bios (Asus/MSI/Gigabyte/etc) even though it’s never the most cost effective. 90% of the time it’s on the well-tested path for the devs.
