Learning a Doors song (yes, I know, I know)

Oh yeah a lot of great bands did, many as a reaction to the bullshit earlier in the decade. All of punk and post-punk, for example.

Zappa was pretty dysfunctional too.

Lot of good metal in the 70s. Priest, Uriah Heap, Motorhead, Diamond Head

Rock you had the Winter brothers, Blue Oyster Cult, Rick Derringer, Jay Geils. Frank Marino, Kansas, Aerosmith at their best

Talking Heads, New York Dolls, Berlin. Lot of good music in the 70s

AAAAAAAAAAAAArgh joining in Doors Frustration.
I like Riders on the Storm- I tend to cheat and play the A open, mainly cause I get into a nice rhythm.

I have just spent the last 2 hours getting my head around Light My Fire.
I had a chord chart which didn’t help, found part 1 of a Youtube lesson which kinda made sense for intro and verse and explained what they are going (mainly triads).
Finally found a songster tab I printed a week ago and could make sense of and finally put them together.
I now hate this song with a passion but have to learn it for next week!
