Been playing for a year+, I play left handed. Started on a Fender P-Bass, then MM StingRay, then Martin OOOC Jr. Bass Acoustic (for chill). I love metal music and want that dark deep top string on a 5-string bass, similar to my StingRay, but darker! But very few companies make lefty and MM will not make the DarkRay in left…I asked.

Have you looked into Schecter? They have a category just for lefties.

Well, if you have the budget, you could always try and order a ‘custom’ bass. Sandberg will produce lefties for the same price.
Otherwise, this might be a way forward, almost the real thing 
The site shows a RH bass, but the reference is for a LH.
From there, you could experiment with tone shaping (pedals, amp) or maybe even mod the bass to get closer to the sound you like (pickups, preamp).
I would be looking at some alternatives. Mtd makes a humbucker that’s real nice. Also Warwick. They aren’t exact stingray copies but they both sound fantastic on their own. Also both are very Lefty friendly brands
