Been infrequently on the forum this year so I’m a little behind. How are you doing Pam? Did they find a way around the tongue surgery( really hope they did). At least you have ASL to fall back on. I spent from 1997 to 2003 as an ASL interpreter part time before I moved to the Northeast to teach at a helicopter flight school. I had brain cancer in 2018, after a year and a half of radiation and chemo I am clear and playing Bass again after a 35 year break. Sending prayers that you ultimately get a clean bill of health.

Actually, I lost my tongue and larynx, which left me without the ability to speak or eat sold foods. My diet is limited to liquids and pureed foods that I can consume without having to chew. Most people don’t realize, it’s impossible to chew food without a tongue.
I’m still kicking though!

Thank you @John_E . The best birthday gift ever was finding out that I am now cancer free. This is the second time I’ve had to fight this battle, and I hope it’s the last.
