I have an old right-hand bass that has been reversed so I’m looking for a beginner left-hand bass under $400. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Check out Sire.
I’m a lefty. Learned on a right handed bass and continue to play right handed. I wanted my dominant hand to handle (pun kind of intended) the fretting work. The bonus is that the pool of basses I can choose from is now very large
You know another option is upsidown and inverted like Sunny T and MonoNeon.
Yeah, that was suggested to me but I’d prefer to use my left hand for the plucking and right for the fretting. That just feels more natural to me. Thanks!
Thanks. I’ll check it out.
I have an inverted one now but it doesn’t feel comfortable so I’d like to get a true left hand one. Thanks!
There’s always Sound Gear. I have one myself, and I hear they’re workhorses:

I’m a lefty in the UK. I have an Ibanez SR300 and a Squier CV 70’s Jazz. Both lovely budget basses that sound and play differently. Jazz is a warmer sound and the Ibanez is brighter. Not sure of the price in the US but both should be easy to find.
The Ibanez might be the one. Thanks.
Thanks! I’ll check them out.
