Paradoxically, I enjoy playing these types of pieces on bass, but I don’t really like listening to classical music Because of that, my list just what comes up when you google “classical bass tab” - but I’m guessing that there’s a lot more available out there, if you know what to look for
Please feel free to recommend any classical pieces with a tabulature link, whether it’s a Youtube video, book, gumroad page or anything else.
I have this book that probably has some overlap with the Bach you already have.
In general the upright bass solo repertoire has overwhelmingly been arrangements of cello repertoire until recently. You could look on imslp.com for those arrangements, although they won’t be tabs.
I use songsterr and if there any pieces you know you want and there’s a yt video of it, I’ll gladly put it through the songsterr conversation program and have it created in tabs for you.
Just let me know, it takes 10 to 30 minutes and viola it done.
I found my way to the Cello Suites from an interview with John Myung (Dream Theater bassist). He was talking about his journey from a 4-string to a 5-string to a 6-string bass. He mentioned that the range of a 5-string bass almost perfectly mirrored that of a cello, with the lowest note being only one semitone apart (low B vs. low C). So, I tracked down the scores. No tabs, but here are direct download links.
