I bought my FGN Mighty Power based on his channel review. He wasn’t wrong. I wouldn’t sell it for 5 times what I paid. Glad to see him living his life.

Well, that explains why she was gone for so long. Good on her for living her true life.

yes - very happy to see her back and living her best life. and honestly the complete and total support and joy everyone had in the comments on her return video showing off her new… glasses… was absolutely wonderful.

Yeah really happy to see this TBH. She’s been using the new profile pic elsewhere for a while now and I was wondering when making the final leap would happen. Really happy for her.

I still think she’s way, way random with her takes on basses though

I like it when anyone can wear whatever glasses they want. Well maybe not Elton,:joy:

I don’t really know Lobster (I never watched the videos) but I’m happy to see that the forum guys are fine with the trans thing. That’s cool.

When Wendy Carlos was transitioning she went to great lengths to still appear as a man. It turned out that most people were either cool with it or indifferent and that was the 70s!

“Describing the public reaction to her coming out in a 1985 interview with People , she said: “The public turned out to be amazingly tolerant or, if you wish, indifferent … There had never been any need of this charade to have taken place. It had proven a monstrous waste of years of my life.””

Yeah, and why not?

He was a very likeable character with a beard (didn’t get him first though), and with the new glasses she remains very likeable too … maybe even more now, as she has this little sparkle in her eyes throughout that video (might be the new glasses :-))

Well, unfortunately, transphobia and many other forms of discrimination are widespread and recurring arguments on- and offline, even if it may be a loud minority. An example: any tweet of J. K. Rowling (just to pick a famous person)

Sure, this forum is quite a remarkable corner of the internet, but the YT comments are overwhelmingly positive too. That’s really, really surprising to me - or the result of a heavy hand on comment moderation

Lobster wrote in her comments that she had to remove some remarks. But the overwhelming majority of comments was positive - which is kind of unexpected these days.

It’s great that the bass playing community proves to be relaxed about people wanting to be whoever they want to be. As it should be!
