Mesa/Boogie Subway TT-800

Over on TalkBass they are going nuts over this new amp:

I only understand half of what he says, but that thing sounds great!

I’m especially looking forward to the ‘enhanced tightness in my bottom end’ apparently just by switching channel.

I just watched the video. That is pretty impressive.

It has a tube pre amp with an ICE Power module power amp. Huge amounts of versatility and competitive in pricing. I’m not surprised they’re going crazy about it.

G-K makes a series of amps like that too, the Fusion series.

Yeah, but there is something about Mesa Boogie I have always liked. The cool name, the 90’s, thunderous sounds, something?

Oh there is absolutely nothing wrong with Mesa Boogies, to say the least

I was not suggesting there ever was, just saying that even tho GK offers this feature, something from Mesa is, not really better, it’s just preference.

Not that I am gonna get either one anytime soon :joy:
