Can anyone point me to photos or diagrams for removing the locking mechanism on a Neutrik jack?
It was a “feature” of a new bass I purchased but now I’m convinced it’s a bug. The amount of force required to “unlock” and remove a cable is gross and I’m pretty sure it caused the demise of a cable that had been working beautifully up until I paired it with this bass a few times. 
I found a very old thread online but all the photos are gone
