Modifying a t.mix Volume 1 (Passiver Volume Controller) so it will be LOUDER!

I have a t.mix Volume 1 connected to the headphone-out of my Motu M4 audio interface to sum the stereo signal to mono, as I often listen with only one side of the headphone.
Unfortunately it lowers the volume quite a lot and I would like to modify it, so it does not have any impact on volume at all.

This is it: the t.mix Volume 1 – Thomann UK

As I have three of those devices and one of them is broken (fell down & mute switch broke off) I want to modify it, so it does not lower the volume. Stereo to mono ist the only function I need for this device.

I see that there are 8 resistors on the circuit, some are necessary for the stereo to mono merging.

Very likely the stereo to mono part looks something like this:

As the circuit has 8 resisitors, I gather that some (left 4) of them are responsible for stereo to mono, while others (right 4) might be responsible for the volume drop. My idea is to just remove those resistors from the equation and shortcut them. But which resistors?

My question: how can I mod the circuit to keep stereo to mono but get rid of the lowering of volume?
