Congrats. I recently picked up a fanned fret Dingwall. Took me almost no time to get used to it below the 12th fret. Above the 12th it gets a little wonky for chords but it’s doable with some adjustments.

Yeah quite simple really, just break a couple of your fingers and make sure they set wrong, :joy:

I considered that but at the end I didn’t have the courage and just buy couple more straight ones, :rofl:

It’s funny how the brain just ‘clicks’ with multi-scale after a few minutes. I was worried about the slanted frets looking like a workout for the hands, but once you stop looking at your fingers and just play, it feels surprisingly natural. The string tension on the low B is usually the real selling point anyway!
