Music theory.net

I’m not sure where to put this, so I thought I’d post it here. I’ve found the exercises at musictheory.net to be beneficial. I’ve mostly been using their fretboard note identification quiz to help learn where the notes are on the fretboard.

You can tailor the quiz to certain parts of the fretboard like 5-9 or 9-12. Or you can specify only the marked frets 3,5,7,9,12, etc. you can also specify what notes you want to learn, like only naturals. So it’s pretty flexible.

The only downside to the web version is that you have to set everything back up each time you load the page. Of course it’s because they want to sell you the app, so the free web page is basic. But it’s a good tool to burn some stuff in the noggin.
