Anyone here have Peter Gabriel’s “Don’t Give Up” locked in? I"m having trouble muting the A string when I play the double stops on the D and G string in the verse. I can shift my thumb from the pickup to the E and then the A string, but it’s tough shifting back to play the initial note of the next phrase on the E. Right hand muting doesn’t seem to work at all for me on this.

You are playing it too fast. Slow it down and your hand will find the path to mute it. I had the reverse problem trying to get 8 count sustain on an Open E. It took me a long time to find the right technique for me but once I found it it just clicked.
