I Bought a Toby Tobias Bass and bought this course, I played in High School a long time ago and was self taught and horrible at playing Bass… Since buying this coarse I have bought one of these

He wipes the fretboard down with holy water instead of fretboard oil.

Confirmed, I tried it on mine and now I have charred strings with a pile of ashes.
