My thoughts after almost 3 months in with the Zoom B2 Four

I own the Zoom B2 Four (in a box somewhere) and I’ve owned the Line 6 HX Stomp and I currently use the Line 6 HX One.

I think that the POD is going to use the Line 6 technology that you find in the Helix systems. If that’s the case then it’s going to sound a little bit better than the Zoom.

The Zoom is fine but the Line 6 stuff is really good.

I’ve not played through the new Line 6 POD. What you don’t get though is a built in drum machine.

But you can get those free as an app on your phone if you wish.

Neither are bad choices, I think the POD sounds a little better to my ear and easier menu on the POD to experiment with chorus, delay etc.

Those both look really nice. I’m not sure I want to spend that much right now. I’ve only been playing for about 8 months, so I was thinking of getting my ankles wet. The Stomp & One are knee deep, in cost at least.

You don’t need to get into the Stomp / One yet for sure.

That POD sounds great and isn’t stupid money for what you get in terms of amp / cab sims and effects
