I have a Rumble 500 which is entirely too big for most of the rooms I play. But My Ampeg Rocket Bass 50 watt might be a bit small. Look for one that has the XLR output jack on the back so you can hook in to someone’s PA system if you need to. Something in the 100-200 watt arena would more than enough for smaller events. Compare the peavey to Ampeg stuff, they’ll be similarly priced and good quality.

Is the MAX 112 an older model? If so then get the 100.

The MAX112 seems to be a discontinued model. However the difference doesn’t seem all that big compared to the newer models.

As you are planning on gigging, the main issue might be power (even though both have a direct out to go to front of house).

This video gives some useful information on which amps to use, even though I don’t think anyone would need more than 500W nowadays (unless they have roadies to lug the amps around ).
