so since starting my bass playing journey, I’ve discovered a whole new world of music and it got me wondering, how many new bands have you guys found out about since picking up a bass that now get regular rotation on your chosen music streaming app?
For me, some regulars are Davy Knowles/Back Door Slam, The Cold Stares and The Cult
Check out the “What are you listening to right now?” and “Share some good music Friday” threads 
I’ve found several actually. I used to get these YouTube Music badges monthly, And I stopped getting them, I think because I’m listening to a much wider variety of music now. I just switched over to Deezer anyway so lol.
But here’s a few:

Dr. Infinity (I’m OBSESSED with these guys, so good, live strings and horns, frontman plays bass, just rocks)

And like @howard mentioned too, be sure to check out the music threads. People are posting videos there pretty much all day. Lots of great stuff that you wouldn’t necessarily run into otherwise.
All really great new music I found came from @faydout and @saroohoo.
Just look for whatever they post on “What are you listening to right now?” and “Share some good music Friday”, like @howard said.
For me Idles, Whispering Sons, I love trains, DC Fontaines etc were absolute revelations, and gave me back my faith in “new” music!!!

Whispering Sons is now one of my favourite bands (especially the older stuff) … though they’re from Belgium. But nobody’s perfect
