Use to work with lessons on talking bass, still think he’s a great teacher, but found Josh on YouTube, and too me he’s just what I been looking for. Love his DVD’s

Having seen a recent video of Mak Smith and Josh talkng face to face for the first time it would appear that Josh is happy with his begginer audience and that the intermediate market is already flush with established teachers such as Mark ans Scott etc

Yep, it is a major commitment of time, effort and money to create courses for all the different levels, techniques, and theory involved in teaching intermediate and advanced bass playing.

Mark Smith has made it his career, as evidenced by his over 600 free YouTube videos and extensive catalog of available courses.

SBL, with its many courses and teachers, has made bass teaching a big business.

There are other individuals and outfits in the mix, like Truefire, etc., but these two have the market covered really well.

Yeah, @JoshFossgreen has found a great niche. Vital too, getting people in to the instrument keeps it alive.
