When I went to purchase a set for my old 2012 MIM reissue of my first bass, a 1963 Fender Jazz, at checkout, £20 was added for shipping and £0 for French VAT. I thought that maybe the Shipping and VAT were reversed since French VAT is 20%, but then I clicked through to the payment entry page and “Economy Shipping” for £20 was selected. Your product page says “Free worldwide shipping”, so I abandoned the purchase until you can provide clarification. The discount is excellent, but claiming free shipping and then adding £20 for shipping might cause others to abandon their purchase like I did…for now. 
Also, what to you mean by “short range”?
