Not sure what to do

Hi guys. I’m still learning how to play bass with an electroacoustic bass guitar that I got last year.

Acoustic sounds nice, but I would like to get it to the next level, just for practice.

Not sure if I should get an audio interface or maybe a bass amp.

I found this mini amp, not sure if it would be good, but it’s pretty small, portable, so I like it.

Since it’s pretty difficult to find those things in my country, I ship them from the US, but I don’t want the shipment to be so expensive. I would like to spend no more than 200 bucks on something I could use for practice.

Any advice?

Thanks, I appreciate your help.

Not sure what country you’re in. But most music stores that have an inventory of electric instruments usually have some PA related items. Find yourself a decent 4 channel mixer. Decent Headphones and a cable. If you’re not playing with anyone an amp isn’t needed. Should come in under your budget. You can also plug a laptop into it and practice to whatever music you want. All without disturbing the locals.

I’d go with Katana Go headphone amp, a used katana 110 bass amp or rumble 100. I would not spend anywhere near $200 on a tiny amp for sure.

I appreciate your help!

I found this one for $80 in my city:

I’m going to check it tomorrow to see its status.

Any advice?

I’d do a headphone amp before I did that, and I don’t particularly care much for headphone amps. That looks like it would be too underpowered with too small a speaker, and I’d just get frustrated with it.

Katana Go looks good. Any other recommendation for the headphone amp?
