Fugazi were huge, probably the best known DC punk/post-hardcore band (along with Minor Threat and Bad Brains anyway). I have a lot of memories around stuff like Waiting Room and Arpeggiator.

Grew up in the DC burbs (Howard county MD) in the early 90s. I didn’t realize that Fugazi wasn’t a huge deal until I was a grown adult. I’d love to cover something like By You off of Red Medicine. That down tuned guitar towards the end of the song (chef’s kiss).

Same. It’s funny when you and your friends are living, breathing, and existing in a space that - only years later - you find out was a fringe thing.
Fugazi was this for sure, and I was way out here in California.

Very cool sound. I’ll give them a proper listening after work. I knew Brandon (besides Fugazi of course) from playing with Wayne Kramer from MC5. I hadn’t heard of this project though.
