Several years ago, I owned a music store. I had a mandolin instructor who mentioned that he had a friend who had a bass with my name on it.
He gave me a name and a number, I called but never received a reply, until a few days ago.

The black strings are LaBella Tapewounds. They are nylon covered strings, which gives off the sound of an upright bass. They sound so good with this bass, but I am going to go with the DR Black Beauties. I use DR strings on all of my builds and I want more of a roundwound string, Jaco style, Mwah.
